AccuGrade® - CD700 Grade Control System (GPS/ATS/Sonic/Cross Slope) Caterpillar

The text items that are displayed in Text View 1 and Text View 2 are configurable. In order to see Text View 1, press the Next Key from the Profile View. In order to see Text View 2, press the Next Key from Text View 1. Illustration 1 shows an example of Text View 1 configured to show guidance information.

Illustration 1 shows :

• The Fill Left value means that, at the left blade tip, 0.1 ft. needs to be filled in order to reach the working surface.

• The Fill Left field is colored green to indicate that the left blade tip is within tolerance for being on-grade.

• The Fill Right value means that, at the right blade tip, 0.1 ft. needs to be filled from the current elevation to reach the working surface.

• The Fill Right field is colored green to indicate that the right blade tip is on-grade. The machine is not within the on-grade tolerance.

• The Design Elev (-0.2 ft.) is the final target level at the right blade tip (the tip that has focus).

• The Speed, 0.0 mph, indicates that the motor grader is not moving.

Illustration 2 shows Text View 2 configured to show position information.

Illustration 2 shows:

• Northing, easting, and elevation positions at the guidance point that has focus (right tip).

• The heading of the machine in degrees

In order to see the offset from a selected alignment, set a Text View to show the Offline item.
