Position Sensor (Rear Steering) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
- Remove bolts (2), washers (3), and cover (1) .

- Disconnect harness assembly (4) from position sensor group (5) .

- Remove set screw (9), spring (7), bolt (6), and bolt (8) in order to remove position sensor group (5) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |

- Remove screws (10) in order to remove position sensor (11) from block (12). Remove bolts (14) in order to remove plate (13) from block (12) .

Installation Procedure
- Install plate (13) to block (12) with bolts (14). Install position sensor (11) onto block (12) with screws (10) .

- Install position sensor group (5). Install set screw (9) and bolt (8) to position sensor group (5). Install bolt (6) and spring (7) to position sensor group (5) .

- Install cover (1), washers (3), and bolts (2) .
