    (1) "Send a pattern map to one or more drills" Icon

  1. In order to send a pattern map to one or more drills, select the "Send a pattern map to one or more drills" icon (1) from the display screen. Refer to Illustration 1.

  1. Select the pattern for the drill(s).

    Note: A list on the left hand window will display any patterns that are available in your "Default pattern folder". If the pattern is not in the left hand list, click on the "Other location" icon (2). Select the appropriate file. Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Click on the "Next" icon (3) .

  1. A screen for selection of the drill(s) will appear. Refer to Illustration 3.

    The left hand side of the screen displays a list of drills that are available. The right hand side of the screen displays a list of drills "that the pattern files will be sent to".

  1. Select the appropriate drill(s) in the left hand list. Move the selected drill(s) into the right hand list with the icons that are between the two lists.

  1. Click on the "Next" icon (3) .

  1. The "Send pattern wizard" will display a screen for the selection of sending the pattern file as one of the following options:

    • "Append"

    • "Replace"

    If you send the pattern file as an "append", you will be adding this pattern to the existing map for the drill. If you send the pattern file as a "replace", the existing map for the drill will be removed. The pattern file will replace the existing map for the drill.

  1. Click on the "Next" icon (3) .

  1. The "Send pattern wizard" will display a screen that summarizes the actions that have been selected. Verify that the settings are correct and click the "Finish" icon (5) .

    If the settings are not correct, then click the "Back" icon (4) in order to modify your options for the configuration. Refer to Illustration 5.

    (6) "Close" Icon

  1. Verify the transfer of the pattern map to the drill(s). Once the transfers are complete, click on the "Close" icon (6). Refer to Illustration 6.
