Use a Bolt (57) in order to secure the Mainfall Sensor (2) to the threaded hole in the bracket. Use Bolt (57), Washer (103), and Nut (91) in order to secure the Mainfall Sensor (2) to the slotted hole in the bracket. Refer to Illustration 2.
The Mainfall Sensor (2) must be parallel within 25 mm (1/4 inch) to the frame.
- Place the straight edge of the Adjustable Square (600 mm (2 ft)) on the side of the Mainfall Sensor (2) .
- Verify that the second straight edge of the Adjustable Square (600 mm (2 ft)) is parallel with the edge of the cab platform. Refer to Illustration 3.
Illustration 3 | g01079500 |
- If the Mainfall Sensor (2) is not parallel to the cab platform, then loosen the Nut (91) and the Bolt (57) that is to the rear of the motor grader on the sensor. Adjust the sensor until the second straight edge is parallel with the cab platform. Tighten the nut and the bolt.
Note: The rear hole for the sensor on the mounting bracket is slotted for purposes of adjusting.

- Once the cab platform is parallel to the second straight edge secure the Mainfall Sensor (2) .
- After the Mainfall Sensor (2) has been secured, verify that the sensor is aligned correctly.
Note: Tightening the bolts of the Mainfall Sensor (2) can cause the Mainfall Sensor (2) to move out of adjustment.
