AccuGrade® GPS Using The CD550A Display (GPS/ATS/Sonic/Cross Slope) Caterpillar

If this feature is turned ON, the "Increment Switch Adjustment" dialog is used in order to set the amount each press of the vertical offset buttons increases or decreases the vertical offset.

To set both the "Increment Switch Adjustment" and the "Target Cross Slope Increment" complete the following steps:

1. Press the "Setup Menu" Soft Key.

2. Press "Setup Menu - Configuration".

   Press the up arrow or the down arrow until "Vertical Offset Switch Increment" is highlighted.

3. Press the "OK" key.

   The dialog that is shown in Illustration 1 is shown.

   Note: If your system is configured as a Dual GPS system, the dialog that is shown in Illustration 2 is shown.

   Complete one of the following steps:

   1. Press the arrow keys in order to enter the amount that each press of the vertical offset buttons will increases or decreases the vertical offset.

   2. Press the "Default 0.05" soft key in order to set the system default. The system default is 0.010 m (0.05 ft).

      Note: If your system is configured as a Dual GPS system, skip Step 4.

4. Press the "Next" key to highlight the "Target Cross Slope Increment" field.

   Complete one of the following steps:

   1. Press the arrow keys in order to enter the amount that each press of the vertical offset buttons will increases or decreases the vertical offset.

   2. Press the "Default 0.1%" soft key in order to set the system default. The system default is "0.1%".

5. Press the "OK" key in order to save the settings and return to the "Setup Menu-Configuration" dialog.

6. Press the "ESC" key in order to exit the "Plan View". The changes take effect immediately.
