- Raise the temperature of bearing cone (51) and bearing cone (47) .

- Lower the temperature of shaft (46) .
- Install bearing cone (51), bearing cup (50), shim (49), bearing cup (48), and bearing cone (47) onto shaft (46) .
- Install shim (45) .

- Use Tooling (C) to install retaining ring (44) .
- Install pistons (41), center pin (42), retainer plate (43), and bolts (40). Tighten bolts (40) to a torque of 9 ± 1 N·m (79 ± 9 lb in).

- Install seal (39) .

- Install shims (35) and spring (34) into barrel (31) .

- Install O-ring seal (32) onto housing (33) .
- Install screw (30) (not shown), locknut (29) (not shown) and cap (26).

- Install plug (28) and the O-ring seal into the housing. Tighten plug (28) to a torque of 127 N·m (94 lb ft).
- Install plug (27) and the O-ring seal into the housing.
- Install piston (25) and pin (24) .
