(1) Apply 7M-7456 Bearing Mount Compound to the seal groove prior to assembly. Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant being sealed.
(2) Lubricate the threads prior to installing the nut.
- Torque for the nut ... 8000 ± 800 N·m (5900 ± 590 lb ft)
(3) Diameter of a new piston ... 214.90 ± 0.05 mm (8.46 ± 0.002 inch)
(4) Bore of a new cylinder ... 215.95 ± 0.10 mm (8.50 ± 0.004 inch)
(5) Diameter of a new rod ... 101.54 ± 0.038 mm (3.99 ± 0.0015 inch)
(6) Bore of a new cylinder head ... 101.88 ± 0.03 mm (4.01 ± 0.0012 inch)
(7) Torque for the eight bolts ... 900 ± 100 N·m (660 ± 75 lb ft)
(8) Apply 7M-7456 Bearing Mount Compound to the seal groove prior to assembly. Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant being sealed.
(9) (10) Lubricate the sealing lips lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(11) Apply 7M-7456 Bearing Mount Compound to the seal groove prior to assembly. Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
