转向空档器阀 (2) 和 (3) 位于上铰接连结下。 左转转向空档器阀 (2) 和右转转向空档器阀 (3) 一样。 此外,前机架上安装有左转碰扣件 (1) 和右转碰扣件 (4) 。

转向空档器阀截断流向转向控制阀的先导油。 这使机器在在完整的转向末尾停止铰接。 机器在前部机架与后部机架接触前停止铰接。

先导油从 STIC 转向先导阀流向转向空档器阀 (2) 或转向空档器阀 (3) 。 先导油从转向空档器阀 (2) 或转向空档器阀 (3) 流向转向控制阀中滑阀的任意一端。

油从 STIC 转向先导阀经由进口 (6) 流入空档器阀。 弹簧 (8) 将阀杆 (5) 保持在左侧。 机油流过阀杆 (5) 和出口 (7) 。 机油随后流入转向控制阀。

当 STIC 转向向右移动时,碰扣件 (4) 与空档器 (3) 的阀杆 (5) 接触。

当杆 (5) 向右移动,阀杆 (5) 克服弹簧 (8) 的作用力并阻塞机油流经入口 (6) 。 入口 (6) 被阻塞后,无先导油流向转向控制阀。

当先导油流停止作用于转向控制阀中的滑阀时,滑阀返回到保持位置。 这使转向操作停止。

当 STIC 转向操纵杆移回左侧时,回油从转向控制阀中的滑阀端部流过管路。 然后,回油流入右空档器阀 (3) 的端口 (7) 。 接着机油流过阀杆 (5) ,经回油口 (9) 流回液压油箱。 从而使转向控制阀中的滑阀移到左转位置,机器开始左转。

随着机器向左移动,碰扣件 (4) 移离阀杆 (5) 。 弹簧 (8) 的弹力作用于阀杆 (5) 。 这使阀杆 (5) 移向左侧。 由于阀杆 (5) 稍微移向左侧,阀杆 (5) 打开端口 (6) 。 使先导油从端口 (7) 流出,绕过阀杆 (5) 流入端口 (6) 。 先导油将从端口 (6) 流出后流经先导双向阀流入 STIC 转向先导阀并流回至液压油箱。

左空档器阀 (2) 和右空档器阀 (3) 工作方式相同。
