Description of Change: A new mounting pin assembly is used on the machines that are listed. The new pin assembly is greased. The new greased pin assembly improves service life.

Adaptable To: The new pin assembly was effective with 824G Series II (S/N: AWW366-UP) Wheel Dozers, 826G Series II (S/N: AYH511-UP) and 826H AWF257-UP Landfill Compactors. The new pin assembly is adaptable to first production of the machines that are listed.

Note: Some machines near the serial number breaks may be equipped with the new pin or the accompanying bearing. The new pin is identified by the use of a grease fitting. The new bearing is identified by a grease groove. The bearing does not need to be replaced if the machine has the new bearing with the old pin.

The bore for the pin in the loader frame must be welded. The hole in the loader frame should be bored in-line with the hole in the blade frame. Bore the hole to 76.13 ± 0.04 mm (2.997 ± 0.0016 inch) diameter. The mounting bolts and washers can be used again.

Spacers should be installed in order to achieve a maximum clearance between the blade and the loader frame of 2 mm (0.08 inch).
