(1) At assembly, rubber toric seals and all surfaces that contact the rubber toric seals must be clean and dry. Immediately before installation, put a thin layer of oil on the contact surfaces of the metal seal rings. The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore. Rubber toric seals must not be twisted. Do not allow rubber toric seals to bulge.

(2) At assembly, lubricate the surfaces of the 124-8248 Bushing.

(3) At assembly, lubricate the 1H-8128 O-Ring Seal.

(4) Lubricate the bore lightly with lubricant that is being sealed.

(5) Assemble the plug into the stopper. The plug must not be recessed below the surface of the stopper.
