电子控制模块（ECM）可检测以下状况：
- 占空比大于 95% 或小于 7% 持续一秒钟，或者传感器频率大于 1000 Hz 或小于 150 Hz 持续两秒钟。
- ECM 至少已通电三秒钟。
系统响应:
ECM 将理想发动机转速设定为编程设定的低怠速。 出现此活动诊断代码时，Caterpillar 电子技师（ET）将会指示油门位置为 0 ％。
在此诊断代码为激活状态时，发动机将会保持在低怠速运转。
