Description of Change: An additional door latch that can be added to the bottom of the door improves the operation of the door. The additional latch will help prevent the original latch from becoming damaged. The door latch is hard to use when the latch is damaged.
Adaptable To: The new 215-7598 Latch is available. The 215-7598 Latch can be added to the bottom of the door in order to hold the door in place. This will prevent the door from getting damaged. The 215-7598 Latch can be added to the following machines: SLA1-576, SLB1-949, SLC1-699, SLD1-753, JRK1-511, SLE1-3306, SLF1-1305, SLG1-818 and SLH1-350.
The new 215-7598 Latch became effective in production with the following machines: SLA577-UP, SLB950-UP, SLC700-UP, SLD754-UP, JRK512-UP, SLE3307-UP, SLF1306-UP, SLG819-UP and SLH351-UP.
Use the following procedure in order to add a new 215-7598 Latch to the bottom of the door.
