There are several specific safety messages on your machine. The exact location of the hazard and description of the hazard are reviewed in this section. Take the time in order to become familiar with these safety messages.

The track tension circuits contain trapped oil under pressure. The removal of any fittings before releasing the trapped oil pressure can result in personal injury. To prevent possible injury, refer to the Service Manual procedures for releasing track tension trapped oil pressure before removal of any fittings in the track tension circuits. |
Hot Coolant Under Pressure (4)

Pressurized System: Hot coolant can cause serious burns. To open the cooling system filler cap, stop the engine and wait until the cooling system components are cool. Loosen the cooling system pressure cap slowly in order to relieve the pressure. |

Improper jumper cable connections can cause an explosion resulting in personal injury. Batteries can be located in separate compartments. When using jumper cable always connect positive (+) cable to positive (+) terminal of battery connected to starter solenoid and negative (−) cable from external source to starter negative (−) terminal. (If not equipped with starter negative terminal, connect to engine block.) |
Working Underneath Hoppers (8)
