start by:

a) lower the instrument panel

1. Remove the nuts (1), washers and seals from the studs.

2. Remove valve cover (2).

Install Valve Cover

1. Install a new seal in the valve cover. Put the cover in position on the engine.

2. Install the seal and washer (1) on each stud. Install and tighten nuts (2) until contact is made with washer (1). Then tighten the nut to a torque of 10 ± 3 lb. ft. (14 ± 4 N·m).
