Hydraulic tank (1) is in front of the engine. The propel, the vibratory, and steering hydraulic systems share a common hydraulic tank. Sight gauge (2) indicates the oil level that is in the hydraulic tank. The oil level should be visible in the sight gauge, but not over the top of the glass. The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 26 L (6.9 US gal).
The hydraulic tank is nonpressurized. Cap (3) is located on the left side of the hydraulic tank. Breather (4) prevents pressure from accumulating in the tank.
Hydraulic oil temperature switch (5) is mounted to the back side of the hydraulic tank. When the hydraulic oil temperature is less than the actuation temperature of the switch, the switch is open. When the hydraulic oil temperature is greater than the actuation temperature of the switch, the switch is closed. When the switch is closed, the hydraulic temperature indicator on the instrument panel is illuminated.
