Momentary push buttons (9), (10) and (11) allow the operator to navigate through the information that is displayed on the Digital Data window (8) .
(9) Scroll Up button. This button permits the service technician to scroll through the data that is displayed.
(10) Scroll Down button. This button permits the service technician to scroll through the data that is displayed.
(11) Function Select button. Pressing this button simultaneously with a Scroll button permits the selection of an operator mode or a service mode.

Alternator
The R terminal of the alternator is connected to an input of the Instrument Cluster monitoring system. The Instrument Cluster monitors the frequency at the R terminal of the alternator. The information allows theInstrument Cluster to show the operator if the alternator is rotating.
