Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock.

1. Use Tooling (A) to chock the front wheels.

2. Position Tooling (B) as shown in Illustration 2 to raise the rear of the machine until the rear wheels are off the ground. Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (B).

3. Attach a suitable lifting device onto rear wheel (1). Remove bolts (2). Remove rear wheel (1) from the spindle hub. The weight of rear wheel (1) is approximately 215 kg (475 lb). Repeat this step for the remaining wheels.

Installation Procedure

1. Use a suitable lifting device to install rear wheel (1). The weight of rear wheel (1) is approximately 215 kg (475 lb). Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 900 ± 100 N·m (664 ± 74 lb ft). Repeat this step for the remaining wheels.

2. Use Tooling (B) to lower the rear of the machine. Remove Tooling (B).

3. Remove Tooling (A) from the front wheels.

1. Separate the steering frame lock.
