Improvements have been made to the water separator in order to provide easier accessibility and less water in the fuel.

These water separators are not interchangeable. The 130-7092 Water Separator and the 4W-2953 Separator are in different locations. Also, the 162-9269 Water Separator and the 130-7092 Water Separator have different mounting pads. See illustration 3 for a comparison.

The 4W-2953 Separator is effective with the machines in table 1.

The 130-7092 Water Separator is in a more accessible location. Also, the 130-7092 Water Separator has a paper element. The 130-7092 Water Separator is effective with the machines in table 2.

The 162-9269 Water Separator has a clear plastic bowl at the bottom of the filter element. This bowl permits the operator to see water in the fuel. The 162-9269 Water Separator is effective with the machines in table4.

The 130-7092 Water Separator uses a rectangular shaped mounting pad (1). The 162-9269 Water Separator uses a triangular shaped mounting pad (2) and the 162-9269 Water Separator has a clear plastic bowl (3) .
