Installation Procedure

1. Install engine (26) with Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device, as shown above. Weight of the engine is 150 kg (331 lb).

2. Install washers and four locknuts (25) to the engine. Tighten locknuts to a torque of 40 ± 5 N·m (30 ± 4 lb ft).

3. Install engine throttle cable (23) and nut (22) to the engine.

4. Install pin (21) and clip (20) to the engine throttle cable.

5. Install hoses (19) and the clip.

6. Install the washer and bolt (18) to the housing. Tighten the bolt.

7. Install hood support latch (17) to the counterweight with washers and two bolts (16). Tighten the bolts.

8. Install bracket (15) and ground wire (14) to the counterweight with washers and two bolts (13) .

9. Install electrical reset (12) with washers and two bolts (10) to the bracket. Tighten the bolts.

10. Tighten electrical wires (11) with the plastic straps.

11. Install electrical wires (9) and (8) with the screws. Tighten the screws.

12. Connect electrical wire (7) to the solenoid.

13. Install electrical wire (6) and nut (5) to the alternator. Tighten the nut.

14. Connect electrical wires (4) to the alternator.

15. Install two electrical wires (3) and (2) to the electric starting motor with the nut. Tighten the nut.

16. Connect wire (1) to the electric starting motor.

Note: Install the negative lead to the battery.,

End By:

1. Install the Radiator and fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator and Fan - Install".
2. Install the pump and the hub. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump and Hub - Install".
3. Install the muffler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler - Remove and Install".
4. Install the fuel filter and the water separator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Filter and Water Separator - Remove and Install".
5. Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
6. Install the cab. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblyRENR2848, "Cab - Remove and Install".
7. Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
