Always wear protective gloves when handling parts that have been heated. |

- Use an oven and heat ring gear (2) to a maximum temperature of 150 °C (302 °F). Install the ring gear.
- Position the ring gear (4) on flywheel (2) .

- Check the condition of the dowels (not shown). If the dowels are damaged, use new parts for replacement.

- Install Tool (A), a strap, and a suitable lifting device onto flywheel (2) .
- Install flywheel (2). The weight of the flywheel is 50 kg (110 lb).
Note: Dowel pin hole (3) is slightly offset in order to ensure correct installation.
- Install six bolts (1) in order to secure flywheel (2) onto the crankshaft. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 83 ± 5 N·m (61 ± 4 lb ft).
- Remove Tool (A) .
- Check the flywheel runout. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Flywheel - Inspect" for more information on flywheel runout.
