Engine Start Switch

ACCESSORY (1) - Turn the key to this position in order to operate the radio while the engine is not running. Also, the terminal strips are powered while the key is in the ACCESSORY position.

OFF/LOCKED (2) - Make sure that the engine start switch is in this position in order to insert the key. Also, make sure that the engine start switch is in this position in order to remove the key. Push down lever (6) in order to move the engine start switch to this position.

OFF (3) - Turn the key to this position in order to deactivate the machine's electrical system. Turn the key to this position in order to turn off the engine.

ON (4) - Turn the key to this position in order to activate the machine's electrical system. The engine start switch key returns to this position from the START position.

START (5) - Turn the key to this position in order to start the engine. Release the key as soon as the engine starts.

Note: The transmission control lever must be in the NEUTRAL position before you turn the engine start switch key in order to start the engine.
