Pump Mounting - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine - Remove".
- Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to support the engine. Remove bolts (1). Remove clip (2). Remove adapter plate (3).

- Install hub (6). The face of hub (6) must be installed to a dimension of
65.3 ± 2.0 mm (2.60 ± 0.08 inch) from the face of the pump. This dimension is shown in the graphic above as Dimension (X). Apply Tooling (C) to the entire length of the threads on bolt (7). Tighten bolt (7) to a torque of110 ± 10 N·m (80 ± 7 lb ft) .Note: New models of hub (6) are equipped with an internal stop. Slide hub (6) over the shaft until the internal stop on hub (6) makes contact with the shaft. This will maintain Dimension (X).
