Installation Procedure

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Place the harvester head in the HORIZONTAL position. Prepare for assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Preparation for Disassembly" for detailed instructions.
- Place case assembly in position. Install two hex head bolts (6) .

- Pull the harness through the access hole and connect the electrical connectors (5). Install one screw in each connector.

- Connect one hose assembly (4) to each tank for the color marking system.

- Position the tanks for the color marking system. Install four allen head screws (3) .

- Connect two hose assemblies (2) .

- Position the guard. Install four bolts (1) in the guard.
