使用数字万用表进行导通性检查或电压测量。 有关 6V-7070 数字万用表 的使用方法，请参阅专门说明书, SEHS7734。 在不断开导线接头的情况下，使用 7X-1710 万用表 测量导线接头处的电压。 把表笔电缆沿导线推入接头的背面。 8T-8726 适配器电缆 有一个 3 针 DT 抽头线束。 适配器电缆用于进行传感器电路的测量。
注: 除了线束测试之外，对于当今的 Caterpillar 电气电路不推荐使用比如 8T-0500 导通性测试仪 的导通性测试仪或比如 5P-7277 电压测试仪 的电压测试仪。
