停车制动器由驾驶室中的停车制动控制器控制。 发动机关闭时，停车制动器自动接合。
停车制动控制器移至脱开位置时，机油经过管路 (4) 流入腔室 (7) 。 机油克服弹簧 (9) 移动执行器活塞 (8) ，杆 (2) 向前移动。 杆 (2) 的移动使操纵杆 (6) 逆时针转动，从而释放制动蹄 (1) 和制动盘 (5) 之间的夹紧力。
