View of the Right Front Fender (6) Hydraulic motor |
Hydraulic motor (6) drives the water spray pump which pumps the spray material to the spray bar. Hydraulic motor (6) is driven by the hydraulic pump. Since the hydraulic pump output is variable, hydraulic motor (6) will turn at the RPM that is proportionate to the amount of pump output.
The hydraulic motor (6) is gear-driven.

Hydraulic Motor (40) Drive shaft (41) Inlet (42) Gear (43) Outlet |
Oil flows from the hydraulic pump to motor inlet (41). The oil flows around gear (42) and the oil flows around the drive shaft gear. This causes drive shaft (40) to rotate counterclockwise. This is viewed from the end of the shaft. The oil flows from outlet (43) in order to return to the pump. The shaft end of the motor is connected to the water spray pump by a coupling.
