Pilot Pressure for Hoist Control Valve - Test

- Park the machine on a level surface.
- Move the transmission control to the NEUTRAL position and move the parking brake control to the ENGAGED position. Move the hoist control to the HOLD position. Shut off the engine.
- Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7347, "Steering Frame Lock".
- Connect a 6900 kPa (1000 psi) pressure gauge to the pressure test port.
- Start the engine and run the engine at low idle. The gauge should indicate 4825 ± 100 kPa (700 ± 15 psi). Shut off the engine after the pressure has been measured.
If the pressure is correct, proceed to Step 6.
If the pressure is incorrect, perform the following adjustment procedure:
- Remove the end cap from pressure reducing valve (1) .

- Turn the adjusting screw clockwise in order to increase the pilot pressure. Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure. Make the adjustments in increments of half a turn.
- Start the engine and measure the pressure. Repeat the adjustment until the correct pressure is obtained. Shut off the engine.
- Reinstall the end cap.
- Remove the pressure gauge from the machine. Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7347, "Steering Frame Lock".
