The Special Instruction, REHS0846, "Installing a Tooth Bar on a Bucket" is now available. This special instruction outlines the basic information in order to attach a tooth bar to either a general purpose bucket or a multipurpose bucket.
Two series of tooth bars are available. Series I is designed to fit on buckets with no additional cutting edges. Series II is designed to fit over a cutting edge which is bolted to the bucket.
The special instruction may be obtained through the normal literature ordering channels. The publication can also be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).
