Description of Change: An improved bracket can be made for the back pressure valve on the feed roller motor. The improved bracket is stronger than the former bracket and the new bracket has four bolts instead of two. The improvements make the bracket more resistant to cracking which gives the bracket a longer service life.
Adaptable To: The bracket is adaptable to first production of the listed harvester heads.

- The new bracket will need to be manufactured. The dimensions of the new bracket are shown in illustration 1. All corners that are not specified have a 2 mm (0.08 inch) radius. The bracket can be made from any type of mild steel.

- Refer to Service Manual module, RENR3007, "Disassembly and Assembly, HH45, HH55, HH65, and HH75 Harvester Heads", "Preparation for Disassembly" for instruction on preparing the harvester head for disassembly.
Installation Procedure
- Remove mounting bolts (1) .

- Move the valve so that the mounting bracket can be accessed.
- Remove the two mounting bolts from the valve end cap (3). Remove the mounting bracket.

- Remove the two bolts from the adjacent valve end cap (2) .
- Install the new manufactured bracket. Use four 8T-0269 Bolts and four 9X-8267 Washers in place of the bolts that were removed from the valve end caps.
- Reinstall the valve with the two mounting bolts.
