The drum support is located on the left side of the drum.

Refer to the Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations, SEBU6250, "S·O·S Oil Analysis". Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Sampling Interval and Location of Sampling Valve" for information on obtaining the oil sample from the drum support.
Note: After you obtain an oil sample, add oil in order to maintain the proper level.
