Fuel Tank Cap and Strainer - Clean

Fuel tank cap (1) is located on the top of the fuel tank. Fuel tank strainer (2) is located under the fuel cap. The fuel tank strainer will strain the fuel as the fuel enters the fuel tank.
- Remove the padlock from the fuel tank cap. Remove the fuel tank cap from the machine by lifting the catch and by turning the fuel tank cap counterclockwise.
- Remove fuel tank strainer (2) .
- Inspect seal (3) for damage. Replace the seal if the seal is damaged.
- Clean fuel tank strainer (2) in clean, nonflammable solvent.
- Allow fuel tank strainer (2) to dry.
- Reinstall fuel tank strainer (2) .
- Reinstall fuel cap (1) .
