(1) Right Hand Control Module. (2) Rear Cab Ground.

This fault code indicates: That electrical noise or interference is affecting the three-point hitch potentiometer inputs of the Right Hand Control (RHC) module. Or that the signals from the three-point lever position potentiometer and the rockshaft potentiometer do not agree.

  1. Inspect all RHC module connectors, ground wires and cab ground strap for loose fitting connectors or pulled out terminals.

Expected Result: The connectors fit loosely. The terminals are pulled out.

    • YES, reconnect connectors or reattach terminals for proper fit and recheck fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 2.

  1. Check for open circuit in the right console harness from the RHC connector C010-6 to C005-16 and from C010-7 and C010-8 to C005-7, while moving or flexing the harness.

Expected Result: There is an open circuit.

    • YES, locate and repair open circuit in the Right Hand Console harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 3.

  1. Check for open circuit in the Cab Main harness from connector C005-16 to the cab ground post. Also Check from C005-7 to the cab ground post.

Expected Result: There is an open circuit.

    • YES, locate and repair open circuit in the Cab Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 4.

  1. Measure the resistance from the cab ground post to the cab mount termination, while moving or flexing the ground strap.

Expected Result: There is an open circuit.

    • YES, locate and repair open circuit in the cab ground strap by cleaning grease, oil and/or corrosion from the ground strap attachment points. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 5.

  1. Connect all connectors. Turn the key start switch ON. SLOWLY move the three-point position control lever through the full range. Watch the readout on the Machine Performance Monitor.

Expected Result: When the three-point position control lever is moved through the full range, all values from 0 to 99 are shown.

    • YES, go to Step 6.

    • NO, replace the three-point lever position potentiometer. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

  1. Download latest control module software into all control modules.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, go to Step 7.

    • NO, repair is complete.

  1. Replace Right Hand (RHC) Module.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, install original RHC repeat troubleshooting procedure.

    • NO, go to Step 8.

  1. Install the original RHC.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, original RHC was faulty. Replace original RHC with new RHC. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules.

    • NO, this fault code may have been caused by faulty connectors. Keep the original on the tractor. Clean all terminals on the RHC and reconnect. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules.
