Start By:

  1. Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove". The information is in this manual.

  1. Use a hoist, lifting straps, and Tooling (A) to lift radiator (1).

  2. Support the radiator with wood blocks.

  3. Remove eight bolts (2) and the washers that secure shroud assembly (3) to radiator (1).

  4. If necessary, remove 22 bolts (4), the washers and nuts, that secure six plates (5) and two strips (6) to side panels (7).

  5. Remove 24 bolts (8), the washers and nuts that secure the side panels (7) to gussets (9).

  6. Remove 12 bolts (10) and the washers that secure four gussets (9) to bottom tank assembly (11).

  7. Remove four bolts (12) and the washers that secure radiator outlet (13) to bottom tank assembly (11). Remove the outlet.

  8. Remove four bolts (14), the washers, and six nuts (15) that secure bottom tank assembly (11) to the radiator. Remove two stiffening strips (16) from the bottom tank assembly.

  9. Remove 32 nuts (17) and the washers that secure bottom tank assembly (11 ) to radiator (1). Remove two stiffening strips (18) from the bottom tank assembly.

  10. Use the hoist to raise the radiator and remove bottom tank assembly (11).

  11. Remove four bolts (19) and the washers that secure radiator inlet (20) to top tank assembly (21). Remove the inlet.

  12. Remove hose (22). Remove six screws (23) and the washers that secure relief valve (24) to top tank assembly (21).

  13. Remove cap assembly (25) from top tank assembly (21).

  14. Remove 12 nuts (26) and the washers that secure four gussets (9) to top tank assembly (21).

  15. Remove six bolts (27), the washers and nuts that secure top tank assembly (21) to radiator (1). Remove two stiffening strips (28).

  16. Remove 32 nuts (29) and the washers that secure top tank assembly (21) to radiator (1). Remove two stiffening strips (30).

  17. Use the hoist to lift the top tank assembly from the radiator.
