Steering Cylinder - Install
- Attach the steering cylinder to a suitable hoist. Put the steering cylinder in position in the machine. The weight of the steering cylinder is

- Measure the length of pin assembly (7) that is extending beyond the bottom of the mounting bracket. Install the appropriate number of spacers (11) in order to maintain a gap of
3 mm (0.12 inch) or less. - Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to bolt (9). Install plate (8), washer (10) and bolt (9). Tighten the bolt to a torque of
28 ± 7 N·m (20 ± 5 lb ft) . - Install hose assembly (3), four bolts (1) and flange (2).
- Connect the grease line and tube assembly (4).
End By:
- Install the platforms. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform - Install".
