Hydraulic oil cooler (1) is mounted in front of the radiator. The cooler supply line and return tubes are connected to the cooler bypass valve which is mounted on the assembly of the transmission control valve.

Oil cooler bypass valve (2) is located on the transmission hydraulic control.

The oil cooler flow is a low pressure circuit. The oil cooler flow is 94 L/min (25 US gpm). Bypass valve (3) is operated by pressure and the valve is spring loaded. The bypass valve opens at a 689 kPa (100 psi) pressure differential that is between the oil cooler supply line and the oil cooler return oil.
