A storage compartment is located under lid (1) at the left, rear corner of the cab. Lift lid (1) in order to access the storage compartment. The storage compartment can be used to store the literature for the machine.
Exterior Tool Box

The machine can be equipped with optional steel tool box (2). The tool box is available from any Caterpillar dealer.
You can lock the tool box with a padlock.
Mount the tool box to the bracket on the left hand frame rail. The tool box is attached to the bracket with mounting bolts at the bottom of the tool box. In order to remove the tool box, open the lid and remove the mounting bolts.
