Assembly Procedure

1. Check the condition of all O-ring seals. If any O-ring seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Install any plugs or any fittings that were removed.

2. Assemble relief valve (18) .

   1. Install valve (28), plate (27), spring (23) and shim (22) in the valve body.

   2. Install O-ring seal (26) on retainer assembly (25). Install retainer assembly (25) and tighten locknut (21) to a torque of 50 ± 7 N·m (37 ± 5 lb ft).

   3. Install O-ring seals (24) on the valve body.

3. Install O-ring seals (19) and backup rings (20) on cartridge assembly (17) .

4. Install cartridge assembly (17). The installation torque for cartridge assembly (17) is 108 ± 7 N·m (80 ± 5 lb ft).

5. Install relief valve (18). The installation torque for relief valve (18) is 65 ± 5 N·m (48 ± 4 lb ft).

6. Install coil assembly (16), the washer and locknut (15). Tighten the locknut to a torque of 2.85 ± 0.05 N·m (25.22 ± 0.44 lb in).

7. Install electrical connector (14) in the bracket.

8. Install spring (13) and spool (12) .

9. Install plug (11) .

10. Install backup rings (9), backup rings (10), and O-ring seals (8) on shuttle valve (7) .

11. Install shuttle valve (7) in the diverter valve.

12. Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to diverter valve (5). The weight of the diverter valve is 52 kg (115 lb).

13. Use the hoist to install diverter valve (5) on the main control valve. Install eight bolts (6) .

14. Connect electrical connector (1) .

15. Connect hose (2) to the pressure sensor.

16. Connect two tubes (3) and two tubes (4) to diverter valve (5) .

End By: Install the main control valve and the mounting plate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Control Valve and Mounting Plate - Install" for 950G Wheel Loader and 962G Wheel Loader. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Control Valve and Mounting Plate (Lift and Auxiliary) - Install" for IT62G Integrated Toolcarrier.
