VFS50 and VFS70 Versatile Flotation System Caterpillar


Assembly of Hitch and Frame Version

Usage:

  • Remove seven bolts (1) on the outside of outboard guard (2). Remove four bolts on the inside of outboard guard on the left roller frame. Remove outboard guard (2) from the left roller frame. Repeat the procedure on the right roller frame.

    1. Attach lifting straps to frame (3). Move the frame into position so that the end of the axle goes through the left roller frame. Install the roller frame onto the pin in the center of the frame.

    1. Use retaining pin (4) and bushing (5) in order to secure the roller frame to pin (6). Pin (6) is located at the center of the frame. Secure the retaining pin with a cotter pin.

    1. Install wear plate (7) on pin (8) .

    1. Use four bolts (10) and four washers (11) in order to install plate (9) onto pin (8). Install bushing (12) onto pin (8) .

    1. Use two bushings (14), two pins (15), and two cotter pins (16) in order to install link (13) .

    1. Use a lift truck in order to install the right roller frame onto the axle.

    1. Repeat Step 3 through Step 6 on the right roller frame.
