(2) Torque for 24 studs ... 170 ± 30 N·m (125 ± 22 lb ft)
(3) Torque for 24 nuts ... 430 ± 60 N·m (317 ± 44 lb ft)
(4) Torque for 26 nuts ... 430 ± 60 N·m (317 ± 44 lb ft)
(5) Torque for 16 nuts ... 440 ± 40 N·m (325 ± 30 lb ft)
(6) Install the two pins above the bore. ... 7.6 ± 0.5 mm (0.30 ± 0.02 inch)
(7) 9M-5874 Shim Pack
- Quantity ... As required
- Shim Pack thickness ... 0.130 mm (0.005 inch)
Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Differential and Bevel Gear - Adjust" before shims (7) are installed.
(8) Final torque for 18 bolts ... 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft)
Note: Bolts (8) must be turned 60 degrees past the final torque.
(9) Lubricate the sealing lip with a small amount of the lubricant that is being sealed.
(10) Lubricate the bore with a small amount of the lubricant that is being sealed.
