Engine Air Filter Service Indicator Screen - Replace
Replace the small in-line screens on the air filter when the secondary filter is serviced.
If the in-line screens are not maintained, the service indicator may not function properly. This will cause a higher exhaust temperature in the engine.

Replace adapter assembly (2) .
Line (3) flows to the service indicator for the air cleaner.
Nonserviceable filter screen (1) is welded directly to the air cleaner.
Note: When filter screen (1) becomes plugged, the filter screen can be carefully drilled and removed.
