Start By:
- Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
- Remove bolts (1) and grill assembly (2) .

- Mark the location of the left hood hinge. Remove bolts (3) .

- Mark the location of the right hood hinge. Remove bolts (4) .

- Remove bolts (5) and hood access cover (6) .

- Remove bolt (7) and pin assembly (8) .

- Remove plug (9). Install Tooling (A) on the engine hood.

- Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings, as shown. Position the engine hood, as shown. Use a hoist to remove engine hood (10). The weight of engine hood (10) is 1157 N (260 lb).
Installation Procedure
- Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings, as shown. Use a hoist to install engine hood (10). The weight of engine hood (10) is 1157 N (260 lb).

- Remove Tooling (A). Install plug (9) on the engine hood.
- Install pin assembly (8) and bolt (7) .
