Parking Brake Control

NOTICE

Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is moving unless the service brake fails. The use of the parking brake as a service brake in regular operation will cause severe damage to the parking brake.

The parking brake control is located on the right side of the operator in the operator compartment.


Parking Brake - The parking brake is a function of the transmission control. Use the parking brake after the machine has stopped.


Parking Brake Engaged - Push down on the transmission control, as you push forward on the transmission control to the detent position in order to engage the parking brake. The center position is the detent position. When the transmission control is released, the parking brake will remain engaged.


Parking Brake Disengaged - In order to release the parking brake, push down on the transmission control as you pull back on the transmission control. This removes the transmission control from the detent position. When you release the transmission control the parking brake will remain disengaged.
