New Larger Engine Scavenge Oil Pump Provides More Oil Flow {1312}

Usage:

789 (9ZC),
789B (7EK),
793 (3SJ),
793B (1HL),
793C (4AR) Off-Highway Trucks;
994 (9YF) Wheel Loaders;
5230 (7LL) Excavators

Description of Change: A new engine scavenge oil pump will replace the former engine scavenge oil pump. The new engine scavenge oil pump has 30 percent more flow than the former pump. This will help prevent the engine oil from accumulating in the shallow pan section of the engine oil pump, which helps prevent the excessive VIMS "Low Oil Level Engine Shutdowns" that can occur due to the accumulation of oil in the shallow pan section.

Adaptable To: The 144-8267 Engine Scavenge Oil Pump is a direct replacement for former 1W-8508 Engine Scavenge Oil Pump in the 3516 Machine Engines listed in the chart below.

NOTE: The 1W-8508 Engine Scavenge Oil Pump continues to have the appropriate oil flow capacity for the 3512 Machine Engines.
