The operational checks in the listed publications and the zero check in the system operation testing & adjusting manuals refer to forks being installed during these checks and adjustments. This is incorrect.
The operational check and the zero adjustment for the Longitudinal Stability Indicator (Type 2 System) should only be carried out with the attachment or the attachment carriage removed from the machine. Refer to the proper manuals for the correct disassembly and assembly procedures to remove and install the attachment or attachment carriage.
