Description of Change: An improved fan air blast deflector is available. The new deflector redirects the airflow in order to minimize dust disturbance. The new deflector also reduces the likelihood of crop foliage catching on the undercarriage.
Adaptable To: The new fan blast deflector is effective with Challenger 35 (8DN915), Challenger 45 (1DR1879), and Challenger 55 (7DM1235) Agricultural Tractors and adaptable to Challenger 35 (8DN1-914), Challenger 45 (1DR1-1878), and Challenger 55 (7DM1-1234) Agricultural Tractors.
NOTE: Earlier machines did not have a deflector, while later machines before this change may have a rubber baffle installed in this area.
Machines made before this change may be modified using the parts listed in the following chart. Make sure that the 129-6647 Strip and the 129-7627 Rubber Baffle are removed first (if equipped).
