The 4M-9480 Ring-Retainer, specified for the shaft seal in 128-0038 and 129-2413 Piston Motor Groups, is incorrect.
128-0038 and 129-2413 Piston Motor Groups for fan drive have always used 135-2037 Ring-Retaining (1).
128-0038 and 129-2413 Piston Motor Groups were effective with the following machines:
- 824G (4SN317) Wheel Tractors;
- 825G (6RN259) Soil Compactors;
- 826G (7LN146) Landfill Compactors;
- 980G (9CM1, 2KR1, 2SR1) Wheel Loaders
- 825G (6RN259) Soil Compactors;
NOTE: Some service publications may call for a washer between the shaft seal and thrust bearing. If a washer is used, the shaft seal and retaining ring cannot be assembled correctly.
