Usage:
1. Close fuel shut off valve, located below the fuel tank on the left side of the machine.
2. Disconnect the fittings on hose assemblies (2) and (4). Plug the fittings to prevent the loss of fuel, and to keep dirt out of the fuel system.
3. Remove bolts (1) and washers that hold fuel filter base (3) to the mounting bracket. Remove fuel filter base (3).
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the Fuel Filter & Filter Base:
NOTE: Check fuel filter base components for wear and use new parts to replace if necessary.
5. Clean all components of the fuel filter base before installation. Check the condition of all gaskets used in the fuel filter base. If the gaskets are damaged, use new parts for replacement. Check the condition of the O-ring seals used in the fuel filter base and the tube assemblies that were disconnected. If any of the O-ring seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.
6. Install the gasket to fuel filter base (3). Position fuel filter base (3) to the mounting bracket.
7. Install bolts (1) and washers that hold fuel filter base (3) to the mounting bracket.
8. Install hose assemblies (2) and (4) to their original locations.
9. Open shut off valve.
