Usage:
START BY:
a. remove glow plugs
b. remove fuel injection valves (precombustion)
1. Drain the coolant from the cylinder heads.
2. Separate the push rods and rocker arms with tool (A). Move the rocker arms to one side.
3. Put identification marks on valve bridges (1) as to their location on the head. Remove valve bridges (1).
4. Remove precombustion chambers (2) with tool (B).
Install Precombustion Chambers
1. Put liquid soap on the bores of the cylinder head and on seal (2).
2. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of precombustion chamber (3). Install chamber (3) and gasket (1) in the cylinder head. Tighten the precombustion chamber with tool (B) to a torque of 205 ± 14 N·m (150 ± 10 lb.ft.).
3. Install valve bridges (4) in their original location.
4. Connect the push rods and rocker arms with tool (A).
5. Check the level of the coolant in the engine. See the Maintenance Guide for the correct fill procedure.
