Remove And Install Fuel Filter Base

START BY:

a. remove fuel priming pump

b. remove fuel filter element ^*

^*This operation is in the Maintenance Guide.

1. Disconnect the wires, and remove pressure switch (2).

2. Disconnect fuel inlet hose (3) at the fuel filter base.

3. Disconnect fuel outlet hose (1) at the fuel filter base.

4. Remove fuel filter base (4).

5. Put protective covers in the fuel openings.

6. Thoroughly clean the passages in fuel filter base (4).

7. Remove the protective covers, and install fuel filter base in the reverse order of removal.

END BY:

a. install fuel filter element ^*

b. install fuel priming pump
