(1) Torque for stud on back of the housing ... 20 ± 3 lb. ft.(25 ± 4 N·m)

(2) Put 9S3263 Thread Lock on threads of stud.

Dimension stud must be extended from surface of timing gear housing ... 2.88 in.(73.2 mm)

(3) Torque for three studs ... 20 ± 3 lb. ft.(25 ± 4 N·m)

(4) Put 5P3413 Pipe Sealant on the threads of two studs for installation in the housing. Top of studs to housing ... 1.00 in.(25.4 mm)

NOTE: Cut the gasket between the timing gear cover and the block even with the bottom of the timing gear cover after assembly.
